Sydney Slominski, MSMs. Sydney Slominski received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice. She went on to receive her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Professional Psychology. Ms. Slominski is a pre-licensed clinician who is currently being supervised.
Prior to joining the Ballard Clinic team, Ms. Slominski has spent several years working in a child and adolescent day treatment center with clients with an array of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ASD, ADHD, and other behavioral concerns. Ms. Slominski’s empathy and compassion for others drives her to create an open and safe space for her clients. She is committed to helping clients navigate life challenges, minimize negative or damaging thinking patterns, and provide helpful therapeutic tools to utilize in the real world. She often utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy (among other approaches). Ms. Slominski offers a welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA + community, as well as all minority and immigrant populations. |
