Solveig Hultgren, MA, LPCCMs. Hultgren completed her degree in Counseling Psychology and is a board-certified Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She also works in the department of Pediatric Psychology at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital where she assesses outpatient and inpatient pediatric patients. She brings a wealth of experience in the administration and interpretation of neuropsychological assessment of toddlers, children, teens, and young adults. Ms. Hultgren has particular interest in assisting individuals who experience core academic difficulties, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and speech and language concerns. She also has a passion for providing therapeutic support to clients who are coping with anxiety, mood, or behavior/attention difficulties.
Ms. Hultgren aspires to help each client reach his/her personal potential. Her warm, nurturing presence puts those at ease, which enables new skills to emerge and develop. Her clinical skills are enriched by her interactive, compassionate therapeutic style. Ms. Hultgren is also an adjunct faculty member in the graduate school at Bethel University where she teaches coursework in child and adolescent psychopathology and assessment. She and her husband are native Minnesotans, and they have three children. Her hobbies include exploring the regional bike trails, taking fitness classes, and playing the piano for community events. |
