Melanie Litman-Morris, MA, LMFTMs. Melanie Litman-Morris received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Ms. Litman-Morris has extensive experience working with children, teens, and families in an array of settings such as outpatient, intensive in-home, therapeutic preschool, and/or residential programs. For 17 years she worked with preschool and elementary aged children and their caregivers at Washburn Center for Children. Her areas of focus are trauma, ADHD, anxiety, depression, family conflict, attachment, and parent coaching. She also enjoys seeing individuals who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ and/or BIPOC communities.
Ms. Litman-Morris engages clients with humor, flexibility, and empathy to explore, better understand, and build skills to decrease symptoms. Additionally, she uses evidenced-based models, such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy, to collaboratively address concerns and repair wounds. Ms. Litman-Morris lives with her family in the western suburbs. She enjoys exploring local parks, paddle boarding, playing games, and sharing time with her friends and family. |
