Emily Bea, MA, LPCCMs. Emily Bea received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then completed her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Bea has had the pleasure of working with children, adolescents, young adults and families of all different backgrounds, and has experience working as a mental health professional in community-based centers, private practices, and schools. She specializes in working with those who are coping with concerns related to trauma, stress, depression, anxiety, identity development, self-esteem, and social and behavioral skills.
Ms. Bea is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients. Her warmth, humor, and authenticity help build positive therapeutic relationships so that her clients can build their confidence and feel empowered to reach their goals. She utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, solution-focused, and strengths-based. Ms. Bea recently moved back to her home state of Minnesota after spending several years working and living in New York City and Boston. She loves to travel, try new and exciting foods, and spend time with her husband, family, friends and Beagle named Cooper. |
