Chelsea Schrunk Crivello, MSW, LICSWChelsea Schrunk Crivello received her Master’s degree in clinical Social Work with a focus in mental health from the University of Illinois at Chicago; she received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Augsburg College in Minneapolis. Ms. Schrunk Crivello’s experience includes working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in private practice, day treatment, and educational settings, including a therapeutic day school and transition program for young adults. Her areas of expertise include trauma, anxiety, and depression, with special interest and training in working with issues unique to gender expansive youth and the LGBTQ+ community.
Ms. Schrunk Crivello’s warm and playful presence creates a safe and welcoming environment. She works to build trusting relationships with clients and families, believing these are the first steps to positive growth and healing. Ms. Schrunk Crivello takes a collaborative and team approach with caregivers to help guide positive changes across settings. She utilizes evidenced based interventions in her practice including (but not limited to) CBT, mindfulness, DBT skills, and motivational interviewing. Ms. Schrunk Crivello is nationally certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Ms. Schrunk Crivello was born and raised in Wisconsin and currently lives in Minneapolis with her wife and 2 cats, Gus and Jane. Although she considers Minneapolis home and is married to a Vikings fan, she will forever be a Packers fan. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, yoga, puzzles, live music, and game nights with friends and family. |
