Amanda Szulczewski, MA, LPCCMs. Amanda Szulczewski completed her master’s in Counseling from the University of North Dakota. She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Cloud State University.
Amanda has previously worked for 9 years as a school linked mental health professional in several (K-12) schools, serving children, adolescents and families. Her area of expertise and interests includes working with children and adolescents who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma and self-esteem. Ms. Amanda brings a relaxed and fun style to therapy. She connects with clients through the use of humor, interactive activities and compassion. Ms. Amanda uses a client-centered therapeutic approach and incorporates evidence-based techniques to help her clients. To empower clients to achieve their therapeutic goals, Amanda incorporates mindfulness techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy. Ms. Amanda was born and raised in Minnesota and lives on the western side of the Twin Cities with her husband and two elementary aged children. In her free time, she loves going on walks and planning fun weekend get-a-ways with her family. She also loves to sing out loud to music favorites. |
