Kristin Ballard, Ph.D., Licensed PsychologistDr. Kristin Ballard is a licensed psychologist and founder of Ballard Clinic. Dr. Ballard completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology, and Masters/Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She spent her doctoral internship at the University of Minnesota Medical Center - Department of Pediatrics where she gained additional experience in assessment and treatment of children, teens, and young adults with psychiatric disorders. Dr. Ballard continued her training as a child psychologist with a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at University of Minnesota Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. There, she honed her skills in group and individual therapy for anxiety disorders, depression/mood concerns, and self-injurious behaviors.
With enthusiasm and dedication, Dr. Ballard assists her clients in achieving their personal goals. She focuses foremost on building a nurturing and supportive therapeutic relationship with every client. Her attentive, down-to-earth, and playful style creates a comfortable place for clients to learn about themselves and gain new perspectives. Dr. Ballard is originally from Green Bay, WI, so will always be a Packer fan at heart! She currently resides just west of Minneapolis with her husband and three young sons. She enjoys spending time outdoors, taking walks around the nearby lakes, watching one of her children’s sporting events, or playing catch in the yard with her new rescue pup. |
