Paul Reeth, MA, LMFTPaul Reeth earned his Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services at St. Mary’s University in Minneapolis before becoming a licensed marriage and family therapist. Mr. Reeth previously served as a treatment coordinator and therapist for adolescents and their families at a residential treatment center in Minneapolis. He also spent more than 15 years as a therapist for adolescents and families at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in an outpatient day treatment program. He made the switch to private practice to develop more therapeutic long-term relationships with a greater variety of clientele. He works with teens, young adults, adults and families who seek to communicate more effectively and improve their relationships.
Mr. Reeth connects with clients through the use of story-telling, humor, and interactive activities while focusing on the uniqueness of each individual. He has the proven ability to connect with clients on the topics of anxiety, depression, eating disorders, management of self-injury, impulse-control, effective decision-making with rational thought processes, and relational issues. He also enjoys guiding men through the challenges associated with various life decisions and transitions. Mr. Reeth has significant experience providing support to parents by exploring creative solutions, encouraging responsible behaviors, and practicing methods of saying more by speaking less. He recently spent two years working with emerging adults in a college setting where he focused on managing stress effectively. Mr. Reeth was raised in New Jersey, and moved to Minnesota in 1991 where he and his wife have raised 3 children. He has a love for baseball, camping, car travel, and exploring national and state parks. |
