Erin Edwards, Ph.D., LP
Dr. Erin Edwards earned her degree in Clinical Psychology, Child Clinical-Developmental focus at Northern Illinois University. As part of her training, Dr. Edwards worked in schools, community clinics, and private practice settings and was an active contributor to research examining the development of children’s emotion regulation. She recently completed her clinical internship at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in the Departments of Pediatric Psychology and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, where she provided therapy and assessment services to children, adolescents, and young adults.
Dr. Edwards is passionate about providing comprehensive psychological assessments to her clients. Concerns that Dr. Edwards routinely evaluates include: attention difficulties, processing issues, learning problems, and emotional and behavioral concerns. Assessments provide parents and educators with a clear sense of the child’s strengths and weaknesses and suggestions for how to ensure their academic, social, and emotional success. Dr. Edwards has a lighthearted and playful style that puts her clients at ease in the assessment setting. She believes in celebrating each person’s unique differences and strives to empower clients to live their most vital lives. Outside of the office, Dr. Edwards like to practice yoga, spend time with family, and enjoy the great outdoors. |
