Sydney Slominski, BSMs. Sydney Slominski received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice, and she is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Clinical Counseling at the University of St. Thomas Graduate School of Professional Psychology with an expected graduation date in May 2024. She is currently being supervised as a practicum student as she completes her Master's program.
Ms. Slominski has spent several years working in a child and adolescent day treatment center with clients with an array of concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ASD, ADHD, and other behavioral concerns. Ms. Slominski’s empathy and compassion for others drives her to create an open and safe space for her clients. She is committed to helping clients navigate life challenges, minimize negative or damaging thinking patterns, and provide helpful therapeutic tools to utilize in the real world through methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy. Ms. Slominski offers a safe and welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA + community, as well as all minority and immigrant populations. In her free time she enjoys exploring Minnesota’s state parks, painting, attending concerts, hiking, and most importantly spending time with her pet corgi, Winston. |
