Erin Edwards, Ph.D., LP
Dr. Erin Edwards earned her degree in Clinical Psychology, Child Clinical-Developmental focus at Northern Illinois University. As part of her training, Dr. Edwards worked in schools, community clinics, and private practice settings and was an active contributor to research examining the development of children’s emotion regulation. She completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in the Departments of Pediatric Psychology and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Edwards works with children, teens, and young adults and has expertise in assessing and treating anxiety, depression, and behavioral difficulties in these populations.
As a therapist, Dr. Edwards is committed to the use of empirically supported treatments tailored to the specific needs of the individuals and families she serves. She is warm and direct in her approach and strives to equip her clients with strategies to live their most vital lives.
Dr. Edwards currently lives in the west metro with her family and has previously resided in Washington DC, Chicago, and (briefly) Tokyo. She is fueled by espresso, sunshine, and time with the people she loves.
