Erin Edwards, Ph.D., LPDr. Erin Edwards earned her degree in Clinical Psychology, Child Clinical-Developmental focus at Northern Illinois University. As part of her training, Dr. Edwards worked in schools, community clinics, and private practice settings and was an active contributor to research examining the development of children’s emotion regulation. She recently completed her clinical internship at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in the Departments of Pediatric Psychology and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Edwards works with children, teens, and young adults and has expertise in assessing and treating anxiety, depression, and behavioral difficulties in these populations.
As a therapist, Dr. Edwards is committed to the use of empirically supported treatments tailored to the specific needs of the individuals and families she serves. She takes a lighthearted and playful approach to her work and provides her clients with skills and strategies to live their most vital lives. Outside of the office, Dr. Edwards like to practice yoga, spend time with family, and enjoy the great outdoors. |
