Olivia Baskfield, BAOlivia Baskfield received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of St. Thomas. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at the University of St. Thomas School of Professional Psychology, and is expected to graduate in May 2024. Ms. Baskfield is currently being supervised as a practicum student as she completes her Master’s program.
Ms. Baskfield has experience working in day treatment settings with children with a variety of mental health concerns and presentations, such as anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, ASD, and ADHD. She also enjoys helping clients navigate relationships, school concerns, and stress management. Ms. Baskfield’s genuine understanding, empathy, and care for others creates a safe and non-judgmental space. She aims to be a safe outlet for all, including minority groups such as people of color, LGBTQIA+, and immigrants. Ms. Baskfield strives to develop meaningful connections with her clients and employs a person-centered therapeutic approach. She also utilizes evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for managing symptoms. In her free time, Ms. Baskfield enjoys exploring new coffee shops and restaurants, spending quality time with friends, and cuddling with her cat, Zero, while scrolling on TikTok. |
