Nancy Jarrett, MA, LAMFT
Nancy Jarrett received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Previously, she worked as a youth and family counselor at a teen crisis program in Minneapolis. Ms. Jarrett has a special interest in couples, families, adolescents and women going through life transitions. She is certified in Prepare/Enrich (an assessment tool for premarital and relationship counseling), has Gottman training, and has completed an externship in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. Additionally, she has Discernment Counseling training for couples considering divorce.
Dedicated to supporting her clients in their relationships, Ms. Jarrett believes that healthy connections are at the foundation of meaningful and satisfying lives. Her life experiences, including raising three children, have given her wisdom and perspective (and tolerance!), which she draws on in her work. She is genuine, caring and wholehearted. With warmth and humor, Ms. Jarrett helps her clients explore their challenges and figure out ways to cope with difficulties, and life in general.
Originally from the New York City area, Ms. Jarrett moved to Minnesota over 20 years ago and is now a die-hard Wild hockey fan. She enjoys traveling, playing tennis, scouting out new restaurants, and reading for pleasure. But her favorite thing is spending time with her husband and her three young adult children.
