Matthew Kalb, MAMatthew Kalb completed his Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Prior to that, he obtained his Bachelor's degree from St. Norbert College in WI, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Philosophy and Religious Studies. Mr. Kalb has years of experience providing services to children, adults, and families across the metro. He enjoys helping others learn to cope with depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and family disconnect. He also has a special interest in working with kids and teens on the autism spectrum. Mr. Kalb is gaining his final hours for LPCC licensure.
Mr. Kalb has experience working with adolescents looking for solutions to life's hardships. He uses an experiential approach to connect with clients and provides an open space to process and gain insight. Mr. Kalb often approaches therapy with younger children through activities and play. Through play, Mr. Kalb builds a relationship of trust and centers the therapy process on attaining his clients’ goals. Born and raised in Minnesota, Mr. Kalb enjoys summers spent outside near the lakes while biking or walking his Saint Bernard, Ralph. In the winter, he and Ralph enjoy time spent away from the cities finding new hiking trails and adventure. |
