Jenelle Peterson, MA, LPCCJenelle Peterson completed her undergraduate degree in elementary education at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN. After working as an educator for seven years, she went on to receive her master's degree in counseling and psychological services from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. Her areas of expertise include working with children who present with anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, and various behavioral and developmental concerns. Ms. Peterson is experienced in providing individual, group, and family therapy and has a special interest in parent coaching for assistance with challenging child behaviors.
Ms. Peterson’s warm smile and optimistic attitude create an approachable, welcoming and therapeutic environment for clients. Through research based, developmentally appropriate, and creative therapy techniques, she assists clients in expanding their coping strategies and reaching their goals. Ms. Peterson was raised in northern Minnesota. She loves winter and playing in the snow. She recently moved to the west suburbs with her husband and young son. In her spare time she enjoys being with her family, playing piano, ballet dancing and exploring the outdoors. |
