Casey Peterson, MA, LPCCMs. Casey Peterson received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in group private practice and specializes in working with those who experience anxiety, depression, panic, difficult life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, low self-esteem, and she is LGBTQ+ allied.
Ms. Peterson has always had a strong interest in the field of psychology and learning how people grow, change, and become who they currently are. She takes a humanistic and person-centered approach to therapy and has received training in CBT, DBT, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (among some other modalities). Ms. Peterson believes that each person has the potential within to make the changes they need to live their most fulfilled life. Ms. Peterson’s hope is to create a safe space for clients to explore, heal, and tell their story. In her free time Ms. Peterson can be found doing yoga, reading, enjoying quality time with her friends and family, and walking her Pitbull mix, Oakley. |
