Abbey Giller Rathe, MS, LPCCMs. Abbey Giller Rathe completed her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Cloud State University. She has an undergraduate degree in Family Studies from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. She has experience working with children and adolescents both in outpatient and day treatment settings. She specializes in treating concerns related to anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, and identity development. She also has experience working with children who struggle with ASD, behavioral, and developmental concerns through individual and group therapy.
Ms. Giller Rathe’s compassion, warmth, and encouragement helps create a safe and welcoming environment for clients. Ms. Giller Rathe puts great value on the therapeutic relationship and her genuine personality allows her to connect well with children and adolescents. She believes meeting people where they are at and taking them where they want to go. Ms. Giller Rathe was raised in Omaha, Nebraska and while forever a Husker fan, she has called Minnesota her home for the last 5 years. She currently lives in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities with her husband. In her free time, she loves playing with her dog, exploring new restaurants, and going on road trips. |
